Our services are provided by qualified professionals including a Solicitor of England and Wales, a Barrister, and IAA Level 3 accredited Immigration Advisers.

5. Immigration Advice Services
5.1 Initial Consultation
Consultations are charged at £96 (VAT inclusive) for 30 minutes. The consultation fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable. During the consultation, we will:
- Assess your immigration situation
- Provide initial advice on available immigration routes
- Explain the likely process, costs, and timeframes
- Determine if we can assist with your matter
A consultation does not guarantee a positive outcome for any immigration application.
5.2 Service Agreement
Before we begin any substantive immigration work, we will provide you with a written Client Care Letter and/or retainer agreement which will set out:
- The scope of work to be undertaken
- Our fees and any additional costs
- The expected timeframe for completion
- Your responsibilities as a client
- Our complaints procedure
- Our cooling-off period policy
- Payment terms and methods
You must read, understand, and sign (or electronically agree to) the Client Care Letter before we commence work.
5.3 Fees and Payment Terms
Fees vary depending on the complexity of the case and the type of service required. Our fee structure will be clearly set out in your Client Care Letter. Fees may include:
- Our professional fees
- Government application fees (payable directly to UKVI/Home Office)
- Immigration Health Surcharge (where applicable)
- Interpreter fees (where required)
- Courier and document handling fees
- Any other disbursements
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required:
- Consultation fees — in advance
- Government fees — at the time of application submission
Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods as agreed. All fees are subject to VAT where applicable.
5.4 Cooling-Off Period
You have the right to a cooling-off period of 14 days from the date of signing your Client Care Letter. During this period, you may cancel your instruction without penalty, and we will refund any fees paid (less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf). After the cooling-off period, cancellation may be subject to fees for work already completed.
5.5 Guarantees and Outcomes
We cannot and do not guarantee the outcome of any immigration application, appeal, or representation. Immigration decisions are made solely by the Home Office, UKVI, or the Immigration Tribunal. We will use our best professional efforts to achieve the best possible outcome for you, but no result can be guaranteed.
6. Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documentation
- Disclose all relevant facts, including any previous immigration history, criminal convictions, or refusals
- Notify us promptly of any changes in your circumstances
- Cooperate fully with our team throughout the process
- Pay all agreed fees and costs on time
- Follow our advice and instructions
- Not submit any immigration application without our knowledge or consent while we are acting for you
- Use our services lawfully and for legitimate immigration purposes
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional costs, refusal of your application, or termination of our services.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to any third party without your consent, except where:
- Required by law or regulatory obligation
- Necessary to provide the agreed services (e.g., sharing with UKVI, interpreters, barristers)
- Necessary to prevent crime, fraud, or violation of immigration law
Our confidentiality obligations continue after the conclusion of your matter.
8. Data Protection

11. Termination of Services
We may terminate our services to you if:
- You breach these Terms or your Client Care Letter
- You provide false, misleading, or incomplete information
- You fail to pay agreed fees
- A conflict of interest arises
- We are unable to continue representing you due to regulatory or legal restrictions
- You instruct us to stop
We will notify you of our decision to terminate and, where possible, will provide guidance on retrieving your documents and information.
You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. Fees for work already completed will remain payable.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 General Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stonebridge Legal Solutions Limited shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Loss of income, profits, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or information
- Loss of time or immigration status
12.2 Immigration Outcome
We accept no liability for:
- Refusal of any immigration application, appeal, or representation
- Changes in immigration law or policy that affect your case
- Decisions made by the Home Office, UKVI, or Immigration Tribunal
- Delays in processing times beyond our control
12.3 Overall Cap
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us for the specific matter in question.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude liability for
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stonebridge Legal Solutions Limited, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your provision of false or misleading information
- Any illegal or fraudulent activity on your part
- Any consequences of your failure to follow our advice
14. Complaints Procedure
If you are dissatisfied with our services, we have a formal complaints procedure:
- Informal Resolution: Contact the adviser handling your case to discuss your concerns.
- Formal Complaint: If unresolved, submit a formal complaint in writing to info@stonebridgelegal.co.uk or by post to our registered office. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and investigate it.
- Response: We will provide a written response within 15 working days, or explain any delay.
- Escalation: If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate your complaint to the Senior Adviser or Director.
- External Review: If you are still not satisfied, you may refer your complaint to the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA).

15. Regulatory Information
Stonebridge Legal Solutions Limited is authorised and regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), Registration Number F202208988, to provide immigration advice and services at Level 3 (Immigration, Asylum and Protection).

We are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance, the details of which are available upon request.
16. Amendment of Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated to you via email or through your Client Care Letter where applicable.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that gives effect to the original intention as closely as possible.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your Client Care Letter and any agreed supplementary terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stonebridge Legal Solutions Limited regarding the use of our website and services. They supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
